Feeling a bit lazy after the long weekend? How about a flat, fast 5K run tonight?
The LC Swansea Bay 5K Race series starts tonight at 7.00pm - you can register on the night for £12 (£10 if you belong to a club).
There will also be an under 15s one mile race at 6.30pm - just register on the night for £2 and receive a medal and a goody bag.

Clyne in Bloom activities include a guided walk on Saturday and children's activities with facepainting on Sunday.
Get down to the Vintage Car Show in Singleton Park on Bank Holiday Monday for some family fun, or pop along to Murton Green to see traditional dancing around the maypole, with stalls, a singing workshop and refreshments.
Every Wednesday there will be birds and wildlife walks through Clyne Gardens where you can discover the wonderful variety of bird and wildlife that live in the Gardens. The two hour walks begin at 10am and cost £1.50 for adults, 50p for children.
If you miss the morning walks, don’t worry you can always take a guided tour around the gardens in the afternoon. The tours are a fantastic way to explore the gardens, and with 2000 different plant specimens there is plenty to see!

The Friends of Oystermouth Castle have been looking for some great images of the castle to use in a new calendar. They don't have to be new photos, we'd love to see older ones too.

The calendar will be sold at Oystermouth Castle when it re-opens in June, and any profits will be spent on putting events on at the castle and improving the visitor experience.

Swimathon is the world’s biggest fundraising swim and this year swimmers can choose to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief.
With swim distances of 2.5k and 5k there is a swim suitable for everyone, you can even take part in team swims.
The challenges at Penlan Leisure Centre will start at 2.00pm on Saturday 28th April and at 12.00pm midday on Sunday 29th April.

The Swansea in Bloom Schools competition is an annual competition that encourages children to explore and find out more about different vegetables and plants.
The competition encourages children to get outside and enjoy the outdoors while learning to dig, plant and watch their crops grow.

It's only 100 days until the start of the 2012 Olympic Games and Swansea is celebrating.
Local children are today celebrating the kick-off to the countdown to the games. They’ll be taking part in a variety of sporting activities at Castle Square including basketball and football.
An interactive game, Dash Dodge Dive, will be made available on the Big Screen this afternoon as well as video content related to the Olympics and the Paralympics.

The event will be held at Penlan Leisure Centre at 2pm on Saturday 28 and 12 midday on Sunday 29 April.

If you fish in the Half Round Ponds (near Fendrod Lake on Swansea Enterprise Park) please note that the vehicle track will be closed for essential repairs from 23 - 27 April 2012.
Fishing is still open to the public, but vehicles will not be allowed onto the site to allow the work to progress and the new surface to bed in.
Cappuccino Girls is back for 4 weeks only until 6 May. The brand new production of Cappuccino Girls is a unique theatre experience in an intimate cafe-style venue. It is a story of the unlikely friendship between Connie, Hillary and Demi who meet every morning at the same coffee shop.

Thanks to funding by the Coca Cola Youth Foundation, Stephanie Millward is going to help 10 young non swimmers from Swansea to learn to swim and gain confidence in the water.
